This scheme will fail with time as it always has, it never works and games that try going that way slowly but surely grow stagnant. Give us freedom in the game, make the experience worth it and monetize your game via DLC with actual content as time goes by. Why not do it the way games like For Honor do? Each weapon or armor piece that you find unlocks it’s look for any future transmogs that you can do via ingame currency (NOT premium). Earlier sets look more grounded, I also prefer both them and the earlier weapons to all the current premium cosmetics. I prefer the earlier gear to late game gear that looks “fantasy-on-steroids”.

This means one thing to a newcomer, greed. Transmog is already in the game as a feature, but only limited to outfits that are strictly purchasable via premium currency.

It comes off as laziness and deciding to simply do one attack animation style across all obtainable weapons for each class. Instead you wasted resources building abilities around giving Barbarian a two handed axe with an ultimate for instance, this solves nothing while at the same time making your audience hate you for the fact that it clearly was doable if you made animations for something like this. This game feels like a Diablo imposter, it feels like it has no depth simply from things like that. Especially in the begging states of the game, giving the player virtually no reason to choose gear based on how it performs differently but instead having them equip anything that is simply stronger hugely detracts from the RPG foundations in Diablo. Two handing was a thing since the first game, streamlining this one (no matter if it’s on mobile) instantly strips it of RPG 101 elements like… having options when choosing gear. Not technical issues per-se, but I couldn’t find where else to post this so here goesįirst things first, no two handed weapon options for Barbarian/Crusader or any other different weapon style for the rest of the classes.
